this just started hapening a couple days ago.....at idle i can hear a slight (what sounds liek a missfire) and on deceleration the car hesitates a bit and backfires sometimes and kinda feels as though its jumping forward. i just replaced the plugs and wires too....what could it be?
coil? ignitor? cap? rotor? something else?
need some quick answers.

did you check the timing could have jump some teeth just a thought

also does it rev up smooth?

If that started right after you changed the spark plugs and wires, sounds like you have problem with the firing order. My brother changed his plug wires the other day and the engine started acting wird, he put the wires wrong and the firing order wasnt right. Checked the wires, that might be it.

 

no it was fine for a while after i changed the plugs and wires and i was beating on it for a bit then it started acting up on me.

 

mines been doing it for a while. I've changed the plugs and it still does it just the same. It's in time and it does rev up smooth.
