Default Deadend connector cap missing, dsm injectors question

Im in the process of installig dsm injectors on my b18b1 civic swap. When I removed the top cap, it popped off and i cant find it, im sure ill find it if i look harder, and i still have the white plastic piece that was inside. Do i need the top of the connector to complete this connection, or am i okay without it? I think i need it because i dont understand how the wires from the ecu to injectors are talking to eachother. Im thinking about going to a junkyard to find a new one, hopefully i dont need to.

Thanks

Yes you need the male end of the connector. It has a row of terminals connected in series with each other. Depending on wich dead end plug, it connects all the sensor grounds, 12v igniton, and or sensor voltage.
