Dead engine what to do?
So honda just got back to me and told me my engine is dead. They said it will cost adout $300 to take it apart to see if it can be fixed? Should I go for the $300 on a maybe then who know how much $ to fix or get a new engine, or get a new car?
Please advice I'm quite stressed and don't know the best way to go...

Sounds like swap time to me.
$300 to take it apart to see if it can even be fixed? How much to put it back together and for them tell you it can't be fixed?
What kind of motor/car we talking about here?

Swap
Think about what you'll be paying in the long run.
300 initially, $$$ in parts, $$$ in labor and that'll just get you back to
your standard what? 135 hp. plus you'll have to worry if its fixed correctly.
A swap may be slightly more expensive but your also getting a new motor with more power. I think the H22 is the biggest bang for the buck, the best price I've seen for a non-groupbuy is 2300 I think @ http://www.jdmhondaparts.com (motor, ecu, trans, axles). Then again you could get a B16 which is plug and play for your application and they are cheap being like 1200 I think.
