Default DC5R pistons on B18 rods

Will they work with any of the B18 series rods?

Who knows?

I'm going to venture and say no.

Your venturing, does that mean you KNOW this? Did you try it yourself or are you just going with the general rule?

I am just wondering. I don't exactly have a K series engine in my backyard..

Well, for starters, I KNOW that K series engines rotate CLOCKWISE, and B-series engines rotate COUNTER CLOCKWISE, so right now I can tell you things are different between the 2 engines.

I've thought of that, and I don't see how that makes a difference. The piston will still thrust against the walls in the same spots, right? I'm really curious about this.. maybe no one has tried it yet because of that "K" in the engine code. I can't find any support about this on the internet so far.

Is the pin the wrong diameter for a B series rod? The length of the piston insufficient somehow? Are there valve/head clearance issues? The piston LOOKS like it might work. I'm not trying to fight about it, I just would like to know from someone first hand, or maybe some supporting evidence from a manual. (I don't have one..)
