Hey guys,

This DC header comes in two pieces. The question I'm asking relates to the bottom piece that attaches to the cat. When already installed, are the two pipes suppose to be leveled (flush) with one another? What I'm trying to say is, is it normal for one of the pipes hang lower than the other?

Well that one pipe has already been banged up and pinched sort of speak due to being low to the ground. I'm not slammed though. I have a two finger gap on all four.

I'm afraid that pipe might create a hole in due time.

Other question is, Is it possible to buy the second piece only from DC and not the whole set?

 

you would need to buy a new header...and not a DC at that.
DC headers suck for any motor they are made for.
after a year they rust
they hang to low
they cost to much for the power gained.
buy a hytech replica.

 

Is this hytech header cARB legal? Will it pass smog? How much is it?

 

on ebay i think its like $150-170 or so. very worth it and its super cool looking.
not sure about smog crap....i live in iowa
