I'm taking out the **** brown dash, just the skin to black. The black dash is from an teg RS so I know the moonroof switch and stuff will have to be swapped over.

Does $675 include all dash parts or just labor?
New dash parts are expensive. Go to junkyard get parts you need and do it yourself. I just took dash out of my teg to change wiring harness and really was easy and took less than 30 mins. this is on G3 teg G2 will be a little more involved( I have done one of those too)

There is a guy on this board that painted his brown dash black and it looked perfect... Oh, and as long as you have a helms and can turn a wrench it won't be hard to do the swap.

SEM vinyl dye works great but costs like 8-9 bucks a can. I used the vinyl dye from advance auto parts on some door panels and you can't tell the difference and that stuff actually bonds to the vinyl so its permanent, no fading or flaking off.(its like $4 can) comes out a little to shiny for my tastes though. SEM comes in different glossiness

675$ was for labor.I have a black dash, both air bags, glove box,and vents. And I have a 98 GSR with a tan dash, everything else should be reusable. The only reason I called the dealer was because I wanted someone who actually knows about these cars and I figured the dealer would be better then joey no frills auto shop. But after hearing that price I said I may take a chance and try it myself.

does the new dash you have still have the wiring harness attached to it? if so there are only 8-10 bolts at most. I assume you don't have a helm's. How soon doyou plan on doing this. I plan to put my dash back in probably next week and I can take some pics for you.
