Not to mention the enlarged water jackets, the closed deck, and the ductile sleeves. And for the record Dart has 2 blocks, the standard B18 with a 212mm deck and the B20+ with the 226mm deck height. Assuming B18C1 standard piston compression height, the math works out to a 1.74:1 r/s ratio on the B20+ with the GSR's 87.2mm stroke, or a 1.6:1 r/s ratio with the 95mm stroke. Displacement with their optional 84.5mm bore and a 95mm stroke would be 2.13L, and you'd have virtually identical geometry to the B18C.

They are actually near the same price as the Honda units... I seem to remember getting a quote of about $2000.

Tom quoted me around $5200 for a 2.13L tall deck Dart short block a while back... family life put a stop to that purchase for me... at least this year...

Raise the deck heigth too much though and you run into Timing Belt length issues. That's all I have to add.... I like what Texan said.

i bought a b20 block for 850 bux, had it sleeved at Ge for 850 shipped both waysCoulda done the exact same thing with a B18 block, but for 600 dollars cheaper
WE bought the b20 from a yard and since it was local, boosted it stck, cracked a sleeve. Then opted for Ge sleeves. If we knew it from the start, we would have gotten a b18a block for 200 bux.
