d16z6 valve cover compatibility
do any other sohc valve covers work on the d16z6? i am looking for one that doesn't say vtec, because if the cops pull me over, i dont want them questioning me if i swapped or anything.

some (i believe the earlier like 92-93) D16Z6 engines had just the "H" logo on the valve cover, no "VTEC". also, the D16Y7 and D16Y8 valve covers work, they just say "HONDA" real big across the cover.

just don't try to use a D15 non-vtec cover because the spark plug holes are on the wrong side of the cover (intake side on D15, exhaust side on D16).
