Ok so here's the deal. We have been working on this project for a while now and this is my first swap involving Honda so I am kind of a n00b when it comes to this stuff, however I am experienced in working on cars. So we got this 1990 civic si and found a D16z6 to put in it. Now after much digging and a lot of headaches we have it running. We are having some problems and are at a stand still. So I'm just going to list these off and go from there, first we have what seems to be vTec clatter going on, second we are having an idle problem(when sitting still this thing holds steady at 3.5k RPM then drops to about 2.3K RPM this happens with the vTec clatter), after that we are having a rev limiter problem(The engine goes smoothly up to 4.2k RPM and bounces the rev limiter), and last we can't seem to figure out why the fan's are not kicking on.
