d16z6 into a 2000 Civic ...searched
Okay, my brother blew the motor on his 2000 civic EX.
We only found a D16z6 as a replacement. I already know how to bypass the CKF but I am not so sure on the knock sensor. I see a bolt on the back of the D16z6 block so I was wondering if the sensor can be added. if not, what are his options.
The car is auto and a DD. An OBD-I jumper harness is not an option unless there is no other was around it.
