Default D16Z6 which distributor?

Im trying to finish a swap for my friend but the distributor is wrong.

We have a d16z6 block and corresponding head going into a 88 crx si.
The wire harness on the motor is original from the car and the ecu is stock also.
Everything plugs in but the distributor does not line up with the bolt holes on the head.

Which distributor do we need to work with the motor and still plug into our wiring harness?

thanks for any input

You have to cut an ear off of the OBD0 distributor. You guys really should run it correctly though because even with an RPM switch the PM6 doesn't have fuel or timing maps for VTEC.

VTEC uses different timing a fuel maps than off-VTEC or non-VTEC. The PM6 ECU doesn't have maps for VTEC because the D16A6 isn't a VTEC engine. So, you should do an OBDI conversion so you can run the P28 ECU that comes stock with a D16Z6.
