I think those are real good times for that setup.

What are your plans for the car in the future?

I second that opinion

my car 3 years ago with I/H/E ran 16.1 too so it's pretty much on the money since stock 5th gen d16z6 run 16.3 on the 1/4 mile.

I would just turbo the D16Z6. You'll make better numbers for less. If your going to swap go all out and go for the bigger displacement. B18C, H22 or whatever. My friend spent an assload on exactly what you want to. He got a B16A and put Civic TYpe R cams and valve springs in it. WIth 10.5:1 C/R it only dynoed 151whp and of course the torque was very weak at 107 i think. For $3000 that's not very impressive.

save 1000$ and install it yourself. also what are you gonna do to the engine for 2k? you wont have to build the bottom bc i doubt you'll be boostin 20psi i doubt you'll boost 10psi. if you have to go lower comp then buy a low comp gaskett. its a little more ghetto but it does the job. you should check out fmax turbo kits, they are pretty complete. they come with intercooler, additional mf2 controlled injectors. they are very complete all you have to do is put it on and tune it on dyno. probably like 3800$ but you could find a used one for way cheaper.
