so on my way to the strip today, after about an hour and a half in my car, the car starts to mis-fire, well i pull over and the plug wire for cyl 4 is sticking out like 2 inches from the valve cover............... i put it back in and it does it again like 50 feet later, well i had some budz with me so i didnt want to hole them up so i babied it to the next exit pulle into a gas station and parked it and hopped into a friends car we go to the strip, and when we come back we are gonna work on my ride, well we start and yank the plug its fine , but the wire is coverd in oil <i think this means i need a new seal kit for the valve cover and the head> well ive notice this oil on the plug wire since about 2 moths ago so i dont hink this is a main factor. well once i get the wire cleaned and the plug burnt off i go on my way to my home town an hour away and just as im pulling onto my street it starts to do it again. is it a faulty plug what do i dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo>?

install a new valve cover gasket and o-rings for each spark plug tube that runs into the valve cover

 

get those new seals you dont want oil on the spark plug wires my brother had the same problem

 

ok so i just yanked the valve cover and all the seals are butter they are fine, so is the head gasket seal i slapped one of my old plug wires <accell 300+> it doesnt fit all that well it sticks out but i gave it hell all day and there is no more oil coming out into the plug cyl and no mis fire .............. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM
