I've been searching through this board, as well as D series...

What I've come up with so far is that there are two versions...Manual, and automatic.

If I were to be placing this manifold on my D16Z6, would I be able to use either version? And what exactly is needed to perform this swap? I've seen it performed on the Y7, but nothing yet on the Z6...

Can I retain my throttle body? What about my fuel rail?

Bump 'cause I'm interested as well and I can't seem to find all of the information in one place. Hopefully someone speaking from experience can shed some light on the subject.

From what I understand, there are maybe even 4 different "versions." 96-98 Auto/Manual, and 99-00 Auto/Manual. Auto ones have plugs on the back for the IACV, manual ones don't. 99-00 ones have an area on the bottom for air intake I believe.

I am pretty sure you have to use the y8 fuel rail, but I think you can also use the y7 one... I'd like someone to clarify this though.

As for your throttle body, you can keep it. I think 92+ are the same style (for D's. You can also use B's).

Bump ttt. Just purchased a Y8 IM and was wondering the same exact thing. Anybody done this before on a z6? I've too did a search but came out empty handed. I guess not many people do this swap huh? Will there be problems with the IACV? too many questions... to so many answers.
