d16y8 intake manifold
autos have no hole in the back for the iacv, its got bolt holes but no vacuum port.
also beware of the manifolds with the air injection, u can tell if it has it by looking at the injector bungs . they have tiny holes drilled in them, and would necessitate jb welding em up or welding em shut.

That's very informative, thank you.
Since I have an automatic HB, and 'am doing a mini-me, but have a top end off of a EX 5spd. Could I put a cover plate to cover the IACV holes on the back of the intake manifold and then just use my old throttle body (the one from Y7 manifold)?
Would there be any other modifications that would have to be done?

im guessing you have a d16y7...
if so then yes, you will have to cover up the manual version iacv holes (on the back of the manifold) and use your auto throttlebody with 3-wire iacv.
make a plate and use some sealant cause you dont want a vacuum leak.
- or get an auto manifold....

That's what I'm planing on doing, but I can't find any aluminum sheets, only steel (which would probably rust after the first car fash). I still have a few hardware stores left to visit, so hopefully, I'll find it there.
