i dynoed my little d16y8 today at Dyno Spot Racing.
Car : 93 civic cx
Engine : 99 d16y8 sohc vtec
mods : itr aem cai, rs*r 4-2-1 header, stock cat and RS*R cat back exhaust
Results : 125.8whp and 110 torque.

Not bad for the little EX motor I would think that you should be able to bust 14's easily.... I just put a stock D16Z6 in my friends 92VX, it ran a 15.08.. hahah that's soo slow but not bad for a stock single cam..

 

i ran it with no mods at all with 15" falken azenis and stock 170k cx suspension an ran 15.5 @ 88mph. which is kinda slow, im going back to sears point tomorrow to what it can run (still with stock suspension and azenis)

 

wow those numbers are high for that engine, and the mods you have done. You only have intake, header, exhaust right.

i think the B18B puts down arouns 128-132. thats what i remember from some website a long time ago.

y8? 108whp is the norm BONE STOCK...17 whp is strong for simple i/h/e, beliveable tho, as the products he used are superior. Add an aggro cam, ecu and slicks to see solid 14's
