Default D16 Rod Bolts, are they needed?

I'm started my A6 buildup (read sig) and i was wondering if i should get new rod bolts (ARP). If so do i need the 8mm or 9mm bolts? I dont really think i need them, i'll probally just get OEM new bolts.

BTW it is revving to 7500rpm, nothing crazy

i'm not finished with it yet. I got the block and head free (both from A6 with 130k on it), the head will have Delta 272 cam ($80), JG Spring w/ stock retainers ($120), and a mild port job i'm working on. The block will have P29 pistons ($210 with rings), shotpeened and balanced rods ($60), and i'm debating if $105 for ARP head studs is worth it. I might go with new stock ones ($56) because i'm only revving to 8000rpm. Oh yeah and a Y8 head gasket ($35).
So grand total is somewhere around $550-$600 for the whold build. If I hit 140hp i'll be happy, the motor is being built for endrance not max power.

d series are tight, and from the facts pretty cheap to build up
