I'm trying to get a d16 running and so far I'm not having any luck. Here is the run down so far...
I have fuel
I have spark
I have compression
Main relay is good
No blown fuses or relays
Mechanical timing is set correctly
I replaced a lot of stuff so far but before I spend any money I wanted to see if anyone else agrees with what I'm thinking. But first watch the video...

I think the ignition or dizzy is bad along with possibly the wires. The only thing that stumps me is I've never had a car run like this before and turn out to be a wire issue but who knows. If anyone has any ideas please lmk asap.
Thanks.

1,3,4,2 going clockwise from the 12 oclock and clockwise from the 6 oclock. The same thing happens no matter where the wires are. It's just more or less popping. The most popping is when it's 1 at the 12 o clock and clockwise 3,4,2 around. I'm still thinking the dizzy is bad because the pops aren't consistent. Also, when I check spark it's missing sparks and the spark itself is amber in color. Not bright white/blue like a good one.
Pops aren't consistent ? What exactly does that mean ? No popping sound should be emitting from your engine. Have you tested the coil ? What's with that light that's emitting from your engine.

Timing is good. The up arrow is up when the white 0* line is aligned with the pin. I've had a few cars that were a tooth or two out and still turned on and ran. This one doesn't even want to fire at all.

At that point there was no exhaust on the car because I wanted to see which cylinders were and weren't firing. The most consistent cylinder is #1. But it'll randomly fire on none or all and everything in between.
