Probably a n00b-like question, but are all of the D-series rods compliant with one another? Could aftermarket rods for a D16Y8 (for example) be swapped into a D16A1?

I have a D16A1 and I am looking for aftermarket rods. I keep finding "for D-series" but want to be sure that all of these rods would swap into my D16A1.
