Anyone ever figure out what the PM9-7 came from? The one I just got has a 93 stamp.

Nothing? There is a severe shortage of EGs in the scrap yard, or I would look. Judging by the date code, I feel safe assuming that it's a 93-94... Meh...

this is the same head code i have on a spare head, is this truly in fact a ZC head code? If so I'm gonna be livid happy! The head is a 88' and PM3-13 beside it...

I ordered a SOHC ZC, it came in tonight. Block says ZC and head says PM3-2 circle stamp next to it is 91. Not sure which motor code(D16?) this is, im trying to figure that out. An odd thing is the oil cap says "oil / Huile" on it. So far huile means mineral oil in french is all i can solidify.

Apprently I have a D16Z1 (SOHC ZC Dual Carbed) probably from a European Honda Concerto. Hence the oil cap in French.

SOHC, Vtec, ZC Stamped on block serial # 3509061
ECU – P28, OBD1

Head Code P08-1 (9/4 to right side of code)

Does anyone else have this? My jdm swap paperwork (swap done by previous owner) says it is a 1.6L Vtec, but the head codes (according to this post) indicate 1.5L. Does anyone have ZC stamped and know for sure it is a 1.5, or are all engines with ZC definitly 1.6? My headers are blocking the year code and don't really want to take them off.

I am trying to determine for sure if its a 1.6 or a 1.5 - so that way I know if it compares to D16z6 or D15b. Also, so in the future, I know what parts to get for it.

Thanks for your help.

I have a P2J-6 with "99" on the right side it's from my 1999 EX d16y8 automatic

I ended up putting a P2J-7 with "95" on the right
and
the intake side of the -7 / 95 is different than my stock

my Edelbrock Intake Manifold had holes above each injector

the intake side of the head being different obviously causes vacumn leak because the gasket/head-side mating doesn't cover the holes above port/injector
