i have my old d16 dist outa my crx...somone told me this can be done...by knocking off a leg on the dseries dist...it will bolt up using 2 bolts.and all the internals are teh same so it will work fine....he said he's done it....i just want a second opinion before i go hammering on my dist....i need it quickly too!! its getting dark...

the d16 bolted the same pattern as an obd 0 b16? something new.

i had to cut a leg off....like using an integra dist...but as far as i know..the internals are the same...right?? so why wouldnt it work just as well as an integra unit??

why cant i rev the **** out of it?? its a damn b16...i have to rev the **** out of it to go anywhere

 

make sure the number of teeth on the internal sensors are the same.
also will depend on the ecu that you are using

 

well the car seems to run fine...it seems like it misses some when idling...but when i rev it up..its smooth...it dosnt cut out at all when im driving...
