Default For the D-series builders...

I have a simple question for you guys. Do PM7 pistons fit in a D16Y7? I have heard they do, and boost up the compression pretty well. Is this true? Is there anything else i would need to get them to fit? Please let me know. Thanks!

I was going to swap the head out for a Y8 with a Gude cam.

They'll fit but the piston height / combustion chamber volume with these parts will be much different. Not sure of exact specs, but if I remember right PM7 will put you somewhere above 11:1 compression; with the Y7 or Y8 head it may be even higher.

Use the Z6 head in the calc. Z6 and Y7 share chambers.
