Default D series

my cx is taking its last breaths i think.. it runs like ***.. i got 2 busted outer boots, syncros are all going to ****, clutch slips(replaced it 2 times),shitty mileage. i got 150,000 on it i dont know if it will make to summer.. its cold as hell here.. i was wondering what would be my best bet for under $600 bucks for a swap .. that will be easy for my first swap and can keep shift linkage, harness ,etc.. for now..

Your best bet would have to be a d16z6.....it's cheap and it's damn easy...so you pretty much narrowed it down for yourself...you can use most of your old parts.
