Default cutting springs? pics

hey i got a 93' del sol. and i want to cut the springs seeing as i cant afford to buy any springs for a while. is there any tutorials? or can anyone help me with this? (pics will help too)

what for? your car will ride like ****. just wait and save up til u have enough to buy some springs. check in classifieds when u are a trial user, they have some cheap good deals there sometimes.

don't do it. Why make your car feel like ****. Just be patient and save up for it. Its like buying a primer body kit and slaping it on your car. Things are better when done right.

yea cuz putting a non-painted body kit would be stupid (oops!) lol. i dont have a job anymore. but look!

here the best thing to do:

sell the body kit (which is way over the line) and use the $$$ to work on your suspension!

Cost difference:
Springs (putting them in yourself) - $ 125
Springs with labor - $200
Cutting Springs - $125


Seeing you bottom out and wreck your car cause you cut your springs - priceless

Soo true. Dude just save up what? $160 for some Tein Stech Springs. You'll pat yourself in the back later on in life. I would never install or do nething to my car that would put me in a much more hazardous situation.

I agree it is a bad idea to cut the spring I think you can get a cheap pair of coil overs for like $40
