Default cutting rods?

did a search cant really find that much on. i got a b18b wit oem pistons n rods.i am putting on new usdm type r pistons in,and i know i got to cut my rods a mil on each side.the question is can i use gsr or type r rods to make up 4 the ls's.is there a difference in stroke? im using a b16 head .if it matters?but if i did that will i actully be able tio rev to 8200 wit no worries?/????thanks im stumped on this ..i called a machine shop they said 450 to take out ,cut,and put back in..trying to illiminate the cutting part......

I would use the word "shave" instead of "cut." But no, ITR or GSR rods will not work.

what is a fairly good rod to get for the set up resenably priced?
