Default cutting bumpstop w/ shocks & springs installed

well ive had my car lowered with some kyb agx and some skunk2 adjustables for quite some time now. but never did it occur to me to cut the bumpstop . anyhow, im gonna try and cut the bumpstops without dismounting the shocks and springs, just like the pic shows. im supposed to cut them in the middle correct? well let me know if im right or not. also, is there bumpstops in the back ones too? tia.

-does it matter which part i take off, the bottom or the top?

Just be careful not to score the shock piston when you're cutting them.

Are you actually hitting your bump stops? Skunk2's have some pretty stiff spring rates, I doubt you'd run into them very often - especially with upgraded shocks as well.
