Default custom piping or cat-back?

another dumb question.... is it worth it to buy a cat-back or should i just have a 2.5 piping installed by midas or wahtever that muffler shop is? i don't think it'll make much of a difference.. anyone cares to correct me?

depends whether you want quality mandrel bent piping or just crush bent.. remember, piping is only as good as the point where it has the smallest diameter..

I can't pretty much gar-un-tee that midas doesn't mandrell bend.That's the big difference, also, the type of metal used (for weight, and resistance to rust/corrosion).

Custom mandrel bent is $$$! If you don't care about performance, just go ahead and get the cheap crush-bent crap.

But remember, a name-brand stainless steel catback will have good resale value, whereas your custom crush-bent catback will have value lower than your stock exhaust...
