I have resently got to use a mandrell bender and I'm going to make my own custom exhaust (I'm going to cut off the flange on the front of my cat and run my exhaust from there back with no cat )but awhile back someone told me if you don't have a resonator it will sound like ***... so should I run 2 1/2 inch back half way then expand to 3 inch for about 3 feet then back to 2 1/2 inch or is that stupid and not even what a resonator is ? its on a 94 ls integra {PS: if I spelled something wrong or it not a perfect sentence "sorry" this website and ebay are the only reason I get on a computer} ps:s: this took me about a half an hour to write
