Is CTR valvetrain on GSR head ok?
Is CTR valvetrain(springs & retainers only) on a stock GSR head ok? Gsr cams and valves for now and will try to get itr cams later. Will there be complications or problems? Until how much can I rev up if this will work? LMK. Thnx.
bolt in affair. rev limit will depend on cams, but you dont need to rev any higher than stock itr specs; your not making any power up there.
i would not use stock valvetrain on anything but stock cams

How high you can rev is not solely dependant on a camshaft. Your valvetrain provides you with the ability to handle a specific power load, ECU electronically limits your ability to rev past a programmed point, and so on. So you can rev up to 10K with a GSR cam, as long as your ecu and valvetrain allow you to, but its not like you'll be producing power at that point.

Yeah, it will work. No complications what so ever...no horsepower gain as well. On a GSR cam, no point in setting your rev limit anywhere past the stock point because you will yield no benefits what so ever.
