Default Ctr pistons in a gsr

I searched recent topics, just a quick question. Is the bore size of the CTR pistons the same as a usdm gsr?, in other words.. could i slap ctr slugs in a gsr bottom end?

Yes you can,but your compression ratio would be to high to run pump gas (without retarding the timing excessively).

You could, but you will have to take out so much timing to keep it from pinging you won't make much power.11.5:1 is a good choice with some aftermarket cams to make good power with 93 octane.

yer assumption is correct.. 11.59:1 compression when you slap in the jdm itr's.. assuming youre keeping everything else stock..
