Default CTR parts into B16A2

I am putting JDM EK9 CTR Pistons, CTR Intake and Exhaust Cams and USDM ITR Intake and Exhaust Valves into my b16a2. I want to know if anyone has done this before and if so have you run into any problems. I would like to know before I start.
This is exactly what I have so far:
-CTR Pistons w/ new rings and wrist pins
-CTR Cams with adjustable cam gears
-ITR Outer Intake and Exhaust valve springs
-Portflow Inner valve springs
-ITR Intake and exhaust valves
-ITR Lost Motion Assembly
-Head Gasket
Any help would be well appreciated.
-Jeff

The only thing I would see would be the valves, you may need to get the seats re-cut to fit the intakes (or something of the sort). I believe the exhaust valve is the same between the b16 and b18c5. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

valves are same size yet the CTR / ITR valves have the multi-angle valve job so you will need your valveseats in the head to be reworked to match the new valves.

also I bet you meant TITANIUM retainers, not aluminum.
if you are only using the oem honda cams, you can stick with oem honda retainers too. they will last much longer (like 5x) than titanium units.

otherwise that is a very proven setup... go for it!

I havn't bought the retainers yet but I found aluminum retainers for cheaper than titanium and they say they are just as strong and 2 grams lighter. I havn't heard anything bad about them but if anyone has let me know and I will get the titanium retainers.

the valves will lap right in the seating angle is the same.keep in mind the ctr pistons have positive deck clearence so use a stock head gasket.

Yes you do have to get the rod milled on both sides. I swapped CTR pistons into my b16a1 and they needed to be milled for the pistons to fit. MUST be done.

Can I just get CTR rods so I don't have to get them milled.

CTR rods are a different length to accomodate the different stroke of the CTR crank.

CTR Stroke and b16a2 stroke is exactly the same, I think the rods are the same lenght.

Same stroke but rods are differnt length, B16b are longer to accomodate B18 deck height.

The cost for a machine shop to mill the rods is negligable compared to buying new rods. As an example, I paid only $190 to have my old pistons taken off the rods, rods milled, install CTR pistons and overbore the my block for the OS pistons. I'd be surprised if you could get the rods alone for that price.
