Default ctr/itr cams with hondata?

b18c1 with ctr intake cams and itr exhaust cams, basic bolt ons and no valve springs or retainers...

would a hondata be any better than a piggy back V-AFC? i don't really have plans to upgrade to more agressive cams in the future, but springs and retainers might be a good idea. is this setup reliable without an FPR, larger injectors, and/or upgraded fuel pump?

for such a mild setup, i would just go with an FPR/AFC combo, though a hondata
could probably do a better job, imo its a 50/50 shot.

ok thanks sgt..

after all that is done i'll throw in a couple hours dyno time and it should all good.

with the FPR, there will be no need for a better fuel pump or larger injectors, ya?

you will be fine with your fuel pump and injectors.
