CRX rear LCA question
Just got my ground controls mounted on tokiko blues and when i went to install the rears I noticed the LCA would not work with the new shock mount fork.
My LCA's have a hole where the shock drops down into and a bolt runs through the lca and into the stock shock (its like threading a needle).
New shocks have fork style mount with no bushings and they are supposed to mount around the LCA. I just bought the car and now suspect the rear suspension is swapped from different year. If it helps the car is a 91' CRX HF.
MY main question is does anyone have any idea if the LCA's are stock or replaced?

Those are replaced... In my experience, only the '88 has the LCA that you describe. I have owned each of every year and the '88 (maybe '89 as well but can't remember) was the one with the shock that dropped into the LCA...
Yes, only 88 has the ball mount rear shock. The 89-91 have the fork mounted shocks. Just get aftermarket Lower control arms. BLOX makes a set and company are selling them on here for like 85-95 shipped!! That fixes all your problems
88 civic/crx, integra type R
dans all JDM except EK had box type LCA like you have
if you had box type on you 91 , they were changed
box type are better than forks type
