CRX fuel pump
'88 CRX Si... by looking at it how can you tell the pump's in good condition and the screen's not clogged?
And... what's a drop-in replacement for the car? I've heard '94 Integra GSR is the best bet, or maybe Del Sol VTEC? Help please...

hey,
not really sure if there is a way to tell if the fuel pump is in good condition, but i no you can check if it pumps enough volume of gas and also if it packs enough pressure. go buy a repair manual from chiltons or haynes, they'll explain on how to test the fuel pump. to check if the fuel filter screen is clogged or not, you have to take out youre back seats and take the pump out and inspect it visually. the repair manual will tell you how you can go about doin that.

Oh, I have it out already... I'm just not sure what I'm looking for
.
Also, since my car's a CRX, no back seats and hence no easy way to remove the fuel pump... had to remove the fuel tank!!
