Default crx camber kit problems

i gotta 88 crx with H&R 1 inch drop oe sport springs and koni yellows. I installed a set of Ingalls adjustable camber kit for the front tires myself a bout 4 months ago because i didnt want any premature tire wear due to negative camber. but now i have camber wear. could the tire wear be due to me not getting the car to an alignment shop to adjust toe or caster after i installed the kit???

I have an ingalls copy kit, and even with fully adjusting and taking it to a shop for alignment, they still weren't able to get it fully corrected.

I thought that the only difference was the LCA's on the 88's were JDM/ITR style... I didn't think that had anything to do with it...

Yes, your toe settings are most likely killing your tyres. With only a 1 inch drop you could probably have gotten by with just an alignment to get your toe in spec and no camber kit.

i called SPC and they told me that the first half of 1988 while HONDA was manufacturing the CRX, they gave it ball joints that were welded into the upper front control arm. before you go and get the SPC or Ingalls adj ball joint camber kit they offer check to see if yours is welded in. I just checked mine and they are.
