CRVtec Stock Block?
Now that winter is here I was gonna tear my b16 apart and re-ring it. Now i've pretty much thrown in the idea of getting a B20b and doing a crvtec. Chances are I can get one local for $500 so that may be a better investment and more power.
My question is (and yes I searched but didn't get a exact answer
) What kind of power will a stock b20b block and stock SIR II B16 head put out? Also what would the compression be?
Just a rough estimate on power. I know tq will improve and hopefully power will too.
Thanks

I got a b20 vtec in my 92 civic hb. I dyno it & it put out 174 1st run, 173 2nd run, & 172 3rd run at wheel. The torque are 130 for the 3 runs. I love the power. The engine is stock except with header, intake, exhaust & gsr cams.

the answer is 150 to 170 hp at wheels if you are lucky...
if you wanna know about compression try doing some maths here:
