Default crvtec

I was wondering if anyone here knows the plusses and minuses of a crvtec engine. And does anyone know an actual price for one, not guesses? My GSR engine has 96k miles on it and it will probably be past 100k by the time I can do any heavy modification. I think the best idea would be to just get a new engine.

For the price that you'd pay for the crv/vtec you would be better off rebuilding your 1.8 vtec. For example you resleeve and over bore your block to 84mm and get new pistons and rods. That would turn your 1.8 into a 2.0 liter with the reliability of a vtec block.

Yeah, I could do that, but my engine has some problems. I want to just get a new engine w/ decent hp/tq and one that won't give me problems.
