Crower cams & passing EPA
I'm thinking about adding some Crower non-vtec stage 2 cams to my LS Integra but I'm concerned that I may not be able to pass emissions test. Has anyone had this problem before?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Are you saying the car is not vtec or the cams lock out the low speed cam lobes on the vtec? Either way there are a lot of variables that go into what will be ejected out the exhaust pipe. Tuning of fuel and spark being the most important. What do they test for in TX? Do they use a dyno (well, it's a rolling road actually)? If they measure NOx and you are using a cam that has more overlap than stock you possibly may be better off because at low speeds the overlap will allow exhaust gas 'reversion' and dilute the intake charge just like an EGR valve does. Make sure your cat is in good condition.
Thanks.
