Default Crank condition

This is the crank out of a B18b1, I was just going through it to replace gaskets and when I took the oil pan off I noticed metal on the pickup, so I tore the engine down and this is what I found the main journals to look like. The rod journals look great but these have me questioning if it will need machine work.

#1 Main Journal

#2 Main Journal

#3 Main Journal

#4 Main Journal

#1 looks pretty bad. If you can catch any of those groves with your fingernail then it needs to be machined. If you don't have long enough nails due to biting use a plastic card or something thin like your nails. Machining Honda crankshafts in this world is a huge taboo, but all depends on how good the factory nitrating was done. At the minimum that crank should be polished.

My finger nail doesn't exactly catch on anything but I can feel very slight ridges along the journal. Would polishing take care of that or would it require more work or possibly just replacing the crank?
