CRACKED MAINSHAFT ?!

yeah as stated in the title...the mainshaft of my b16 tranny is cracked? anything i can do to either stop the crack or something of that nature without having to buy another tranny or mainshaft?
Dont drive it!
The crack wont just stop itself. You need to replace it before it shreds when your doin 60mph down the highway and you end up with a mainshaft in your sack!

yeah but is there any way to prevent it from cracking the whole way down the shaft. i didnt really specify this...but the crack doesnt go the whole way down the mainshaft. its only like maybe 2 inches long and it ends by the throwout bearing...
