Crack on injector tip?
I need advice! I got these and didn't notice the crack on the black cap that directs spray. The thing that surrounds the needle. Actually there are two cracks down both sides and it spins around unlike the other 3. This might be a dumb question but my buddy said that it doesn't matter because one of his injectors had the same thing and didn't effect his car at all. I know he dosen't know all so I am turning to you. My fear is that is will blow off and get caught somewhere it shouldn't like melt to the plug, jam in the piston or stuck in a valve. Do you think it is safe to install? Will the injector still work properly? Any advice will be appriciated. If you say no go then I need to find a new one. The other three are fine. Thanks for all of your help

I would definitely replace it, that's how it started on my boys acura integra. A little crack that developed into a big problem. He kept leaking gas and his **** started detonating.
So advice, replace that **** and don't gamble, unless you are a gambling man.
Good luck
