That's the CKF (crank fluctuation) not the CKP. The CKP is inside the distributor.
On your 96 Hx, are there 3 wires: blue, wht, black? And the CKF for the 99 Si has two wires: blue, wht?
If yes, blu to blu and wht to wht. The black is the shielding ground (and obviously not needed for the CKF of the 99 Si).
