Default a couple of questions..........................

1 If i put a 99-00 civic SI cluster into my 98 ex, would it still read speedo/rpm/gas, etc correctly?

2 If i put a 99-00 SI ecu chip into my 98 civic ex, would it perform better than the stock ecu.....also whether its really compatible.

3 If i have coilovers with kyb shocks, and put them on FIRM, would that better improve the unlikely hood of bottoming out?

for #3...no. spring rates and damping rates are different. spring rate controls downward movement and distance, damping rates control the speed at which you return to normal height. setting it to firm will tighten your suspension, but it won't prevent you from bottoming out.
