Default Couldn't get my HID's to work!!!!!!.....

Hey, was wondering if somebody could shed some light on my current dilemma. I installed the Philips HID plug and play kit, but power didn't want to get to the ballasts for some reason. If anyone has installed this kit and could give me some info, all info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you very much. By the way, my car is a 2001 Civic Coupe.

Check the headlight fuse in the driverside area of the dash. I suspect you have a blown fuse.

And I believe you will need stronger fuses for those philips HID kits. The stock is 10amp(?), you need to upgrade to 15 or 20 amp(?) fuses for your low beam.

A 15a fuse is good enough

make sure the plugs are not switched, like 180 degrees off.. because th epositive and negative is important.... that took me a few minutes to figure out that I plugged the headlight extension into the ballast wrong....!

the plug that goes from car electrical into the HID ballast.
