Default is this the correct place for this?

Is this the correct section of the forum for my question?

I have a 1990 Honda Civic DX. I've only recently experienced problems changing gears (it's an automatic). I sometimes have problems shifting from Reverse into Drive. The handle would sometimes get stuck at Reverse and i would have to use more force than i normally would to change the gears.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can fix this problem? Should i change anything?

Anything would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked and/or changed the fluid in the tranny?
