Default Coolant mixing

Recently went turbo and thought i blew a headgasket because i was getting the dreaded milkshake on my oil cap. the oil and coolant drained from the motor were normal coloring though, so i replaced the gasket and still was noticing the sweet smell of coolant. today drained the oil and noticed a thinner liquid probably coolant drain out first then it became thicker. the coolant was normal color, and the oil didnt really look like chocolate milk like ive seen on other cars. the engine temp did go past normal never all the way to hot though. am i looking at more of a cracked head then anything else?

It seems like a cracked head or cylinder walls could be cracked, too, and coolant is leaking thru that.
