How hard is it to convert an ecu from an automatic 95 Integra LS, so it can work in a Manual LS ie no CEL. Is it simple enough for a newbie to do, or should I pay someone to convert it for me. Any help in technique or procedure would be great. Also, any diagrams available would be a plus. Thanks

 

Just open it up, plugs on the left side, and remove the resistor at rp17 add one at rp18 if needed... simple

you can either do what the fella's above recommended (but you'll still have an AUTO's redline) or have the ecu reprogrammed with a 5speed program which is an alternate way of converting the ecu to a 5speed ecu.

 

isn't auto and manual redline the same ? i've taken my to 6800 before.

Im doing the conversion as we speak, but im just gonna go with a P75 ECU (manual)myself

 

I don't want to speak for katman, but I think he meant. "The fuel/timing maps will be more aggressive. And the rev limiter will be higher."
Am I right katman?
