Default Converting 91 CRX into Mini Me

Here's the deal. I have a 91 CRX 1.5 DX. I've recently purchased a 96 Civic Vtech Sohc head, a 99 Vtech computer w/o the harness. Here's my question, what Intakes are compatable with this set up ???? Also what wiring harness will work on the 99 Vtech Computer ?

91 CRX DX 5-speed , Cold air intake, Header, Full exhaust and Jacob's wires.

To simplify things, you should get a 88-91 Si distributor as it will bolt on to the D16Y8 head. Then you could use a 88-91 Si ecu with some sort of VTEC activation unit, or a P28 (92-95 sohc vtec) ecu using a obd0 to obd1 wiring harness. You should be able to use your CRX intake.

What kinds of gains can you get out of that setup, say on an 88 CRX Si?

I'd say horsepower output would be about the same as a sohc vtec motor. Somewhere in the 125-130hp range. Maybe a little more using the Y8 head due to the raising of the c/r.

about the same as doing a ZC swap.

Any advantages, besides being cheaper?
Maybe more Torque and well like you said higher c/r.

What is the c/r for a ZC?
