Default conversion for spring rate...metric to us

how do we convert kgf/mm to pounds/foot wahtever spring rate most usa companies use ?

is it pounds per square foot ?or inch ?

Convert the kg to lbs. by multiplying by 2.2. Then multiply that # by 25(the # of mm per in). SO if you have 8kg/mm it would be 8x2.2=17.6 17.6x25=440 lb/in
