Default conntecting pipe

I was wondering if the connecting pipe and thermastat housing off a 96 gsr would bolt up to a type-r motor cuz i see theres diff part numbers between the 2

It may bolt up differently, but in theory you should be able to use that one fine.

i bet the thermo housing is diff since the 2 engiens use differnet heads.

Or maybe the pipe has extra hose nipples for the oil cooler...

no diffs with it from the head because my head was already jdm type-r. My bottom end was gs-r and i jus got a good deal on a full type-r bottom end i picked up but i do believe there is another coolant line that comes from the connecting pipe i will have to check into that
